Mouth-Watering New Nissan Model Debuts at L.A. Auto Show

Several automakers showed off innovative concept models at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. But none revealed vehicles quite as scrumptious as Nissan. Now, we know what you're thinking. It's not often you hear a new Nissan model described as "scrumptious." But for the automaker's latest concept lineup, we couldn't find a more perfect word. That's because Nissan debuted two NV-based, food truck models.
Unlike the hybrid, racing and luxury vehicle segments, the food truck sector isn't exactly booming. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if more automakers started clamoring for their hand in the dine-on-the-go business. One press release says that food trucks are "growing big enough to have their own associations."1
Thankfully, as always, our favorite automaker is one step ahead of the game. Not only do the Nissan NV-based concepts display eye-catching exterior graphics but they contain an impressive lineup of utility features such as custom fold-out serving windows and work counters. Teaming up with L.A. staples, The Grilled Cheese Truck and the Coolhaus Truck, Nissan handed out delicious treats and a whole lot of vehicle information to media personal at the L.A. show.
Cole Nissan, for one, would love to see a tricked out Nissan food truck dispensing delectable treats on the streets of Kalamazoo. For now, however, the models will remain as concepts. If you'd like to experience the automaker's innovation for yourself, drop by 3003 Stadium Drive Kalamazoo, MI 49008 and we'd be happy to show you around any Nissan model. Or, contact us online and we can answer any questions you've got!
