The 2021 Nissan Rogue is a value-packed SUV that is ideal for all types of families. Whether you are after something for short commutes around Kalamazoo or long road trips, the Rogue can work for you. At Cole Nissan, we think it is important to know that this model comes in four different trim levels. They all have their appeal, and you can learn more about each of them below.
What's New for 2021?
This year marks the launch of the brand-new third Rogue generation. The family-favorite SUV was redesigned from the ground up and now has a new Platinum trim to consider at the top of the list. Technology features have been updated for 2021, helping drivers stay connected on the road.
Nissan Rogue S
As the entry-level model, many people assume that the S does not have many features. This is not the case. Standard features for the 2021 Rogue S include LED headlights, alloy wheels, and an 8-inch touchscreen. You can look up directions and music on the go around Kalamazoo thanks to the standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay features. There are two USB ports in the Rogue S.
Further adding to the S model's value is its list of standard safety features. A rear passenger safe exit program is standard and prevents the rear doors from opening when the Rogue detects a vehicle approaching from behind. Other driver aids found on all 2021 Rogue models include blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision mitigation, lane departure warning, automatic rear braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.
Powering the entire Rogue lineup is a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that makes 181-horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. To help the Rogue stay fuel-efficient in Battle Creek, Nissan has paired it with a continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all models from the S up are available with all-wheel drive.
Nissan Rogue SV
The wheel size of the SV model goes up from 17-inches to 18-inches. On the technology front, the SV gains two rear USB ports and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The SV also gains a remote engine start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless entry and ignition. Several additional driver aids become standard, including a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure mitigation.
Nissan Rogue SL
For the SL model, the Rogue gets 19-inch wheels to turn heads around Paw Paw, MI. The interior gains tri-zone automatic climate control, and there is a dual-level cargo floor to help you hide and store your valuables. Other useful features include a hands-free power liftgate, a power-adjustable passenger seat, and memory settings for the driver's seat. The SL even boasts genuine leather upholstery and heated front seats.
Nissan Rogue Platinum
A 9-inch touchscreen is standard in this top-of-the-line 2021 Rogue model. The infotainment system also gains navigation and the wireless version of Apple CarPlay. The rear seats of this model are heated as well as the front. Platinum models also get a wireless charging pad, digital instrument panel, and voice controls. To help keep you even safer in Portage, the Rouge Platinum has a head-up display along with front and rear parking sensors.
