Up front, the new Sentra showcases an evolved V-motion grille paired with slimmer projector LED headlights that offer enhanced light output and a cleaner integration into the fascia. The overall front-end presentation feels more refined and high-tech than the previous generation, especially with the available lighting welcome animation when unlocking the vehicle.
A reshaped trunk and rear fenders, along with reduced wheel opening areas and flat underbody panels, help better manage airflow, reducing drag and giving the 2026 Sentra a more athletic visual stance.
More Interior Refinement and Upgraded Technology
The previous Sentra offered an intuitive layout with available 7-inch and 8-inch touchscreen displays. For 2026, the dashboard transforms with a newly standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Stepping up one trim level adds a fully digital instrument panel, making it easier to monitor driving information while keeping your eyes on the road.
Soft-touch cabin materials and higher-quality seat upholstery further elevate the experience. The SL trim includes dual-zone automatic climate control, quilted leatherette upholstery, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and more.

The 2026 Sentra carries over the 149-horsepower 2.0-liter engine. However, the Xtronic continuously variable transmission has been re-tuned for smoother, more natural-feeling acceleration. A Sport drive mode (all but the base trim) sharpens throttle response and adjusts transmission behavior for a more engaging feel.
Chassis rigidity has increased, while revised shock absorber valving helps reduce impact harshness. Improved sound-reduction attributes help minimize intrusive road noise for a quieter and more composed overall ride.
