Nissan Ariya vs Leaf Kalamazoo

Which Nissan EV Is Right For Me?

At Cole Nissan, you have access to two new Nissan electric vehicles (EVs), the Nissan ARIYA and Nissan LEAF. The Nissan LEAF was the world's first mass-produced all-electric vehicle, leading the way in the electric vehicle revolution. Nissan has decided to phase out the LEAF, but you can still get a 2025 model at our dealership.

The Nissan ARIYA is the next generation of Nissan EVs, offering more space for families and a more comfortable range for daily use. The larger crossover also benefits from larger battery packs and superior performance.

Whether you are new to EV ownership or are a long-time owner, we have options for you. Struggling to figure out the differences between the ARIYA and LEAF? Our team is available to help you review these two outstanding EVs and determine which is right for you. Read on for more details to help you make your choice.  Here are just a few vehicle highlights at a glance:

2025 Nissan ARIYA

The Nissan ARIYA is a newer model with premium finishes and overall larger dimensions. There is more space in the seating areas, but the cargo hold is slightly smaller than in the LEAF. Four models are available for the Nissan ARIYA, ranging from just over $41,000 to over $55,000: Engage, Evolve+, Engage+, and Platinum+.

However, the rear cargo hold offers slightly more space. Two trim levels range from just over $29,000 to over $37,000, making it the more affordable choice: S and SV PLUS.

100-Percent Electric Hatchback

  • Up to 212 miles of pure electric range
  • EPA efficiency rating of up to 121 MPGe in the city
  • Available 60-kilowatt-hour battery pack

Comparing the Nissan ARIYA vs. the Nissan LEAF

If you are looking for the longest range and more powerful performance, the Nissan ARIYA is the clear winner. However, the Nissan LEAF offers a budget-friendly alternative and is the winner in cargo capacity.
